Mr. Ravi Teja Chittipotu

Research Assistant

Ravi Teja has done M. Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) and a P.G Diploma in Patents Law. He has also studied Advance Masters program in IP Law and Knowledge Management at Maastricht University, The Netherlands followed by a Traineeship at EUIPO (EU IP Office) in Spain.

He is an IPR professional with more than 7 years of work experience in IPR. He started as a Patent Executive in RA Chem Pharmaceuticals Ltd at Hyderabad and later went on to work as a Research Associate in National Innovation Foundation-India (NIF) and ICAR-NBFGR, Lucknow. Under the tutelage and guidance of Prof. Raghunath Anant Mashelkar and Prof. Anil Kumar Gupta at NIF, he was exposed to various subjects of IPR and inter-connected issues such as Traditional Knowledge, Traditional Cultural Expressions, Prior Informed Consent, Access and Benefit Sharing and Biodiversity. During his Pan-European Seal Traineeship at EUIPO in Spain, he was trained and mentored by a well experienced Trademark and Design examiner from UK IPO on IP application examination procedures and simultaneously worked as a Trainee in the CSD-Terminology Management Division on Goods and Services classifications.

Currently he is working as a Research Assistant in CIPR at Andhra University established under the SPRIHA (Scheme for Pedagogy and Research in IPRs for Holistic Education and Academia) scheme of DPIIT, Govt. of India.
