Our Story

The IPR Chair has been set up by the Department for Promotion of Industries and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, under the Scheme for Pedagogy & Research in IPRs for Holistic Education & Academia (SPRIHA).

Andhra University has been selected as one of the 12 universities/organizations for setting up IPR Chairs in the country. Accordingly, the IPR Chair Professor has been appointed in December, 2020.

The Centre for IPR has been built with the financial support and resources from DPIIT.
